Experience soul-care, connection, and adventure with a small group of women while enjoying luxurious accommodations, charming villages, and fabulous meals along the way.
A Note from Jaime…
As a photographer and travel enthusiast, I fell in love with long-distance walking in the English countryside during my first visit to the Cotswolds in 2017.
Through this experience, God refreshed my soul and my creative spirit. I knew I couldn’t keep this adventure to myself and dreamed of sharing the experience with other women.
In 2022, I began leading Women’s Walking Retreats in the Cotswolds and have been humbled by the transformative impact this experience has had on numerous women over the years.
Whether it’s the time and space to decompress and heal through daily hikes, the chance to savour the sweetness of being present and enjoying authentic connection, or the opportunity to dream for the future, this unique adventure is designed to leave you revitalized & inspired.
My co-leader, Greta Eskridge, and I are delighted to offer this experience to another small group of women in the spring of 2027 and are praying for each future guest.
I can’t wait to adventure with you in the Cotswolds!
Jaime Fenwick

Frequently Asked Questions
-
This adventure is for women who love exploring on foot and are interested in the challenge of a long-distance hike through the English countryside. Expect beautiful countryside, meaningful conversation, and the satisfaction of sharing a memorable journey together. This is a more physically demanding experience than my shorter Cotswolds retreats, with full hiking days balanced by beautiful accommodations and time to unwind.
-
You should be comfortable hiking approximately 8–13 miles over hilly, uneven, and sometimes muddy terrain on consecutive days. As a planning guide, expect roughly 5–8 hours each hiking day, including lunch and breaks. Some days may take longer depending on conditions and our group’s pace.
Prepare with regular hikes, gradually increasing your distance and including hills and consecutive hiking days. Strength training or other regular exercise can complement your preparation.
I recommend hiking poles for support and balance, well-fitting hiking footwear that you’ve broken in beforehand, and a comfortable daypack with a supportive hip belt. Practise using your equipment together on your training hikes.
-
A long-distance hiking adventure requires preparation, flexibility, and a willingness to travel as part of a group. The application helps me understand your hiking experience, expectations, and any needs we should discuss so we can determine whether this adventure is a good fit for you.
I’ll review your application and follow up personally. We’ll have an opportunity to discuss questions and make sure you understand the experience before moving forward with booking. Pricing will be available soon. Booking opens November 2, 2026.
-
Absolutely! You don’t need to bring a friend. Coming on your own is a lovely opportunity to meet other women and share an adventure together.
Before departure, I’ll provide packing lists and host group Zoom calls. These will give us time to get to know one another, discuss preparation and equipment, review practical details, and answer your questions so you arrive feeling informed and ready.
-
Yes! Our itinerary follows the full 102-Mile Cotswold Way from Chipping Campden to Bath, through rolling countryside, ancient villages, and beautiful stretches of woodland. Where needed, transfers will take us between the trail and our accommodations.
-
No—your luggage will be transferred between accommodations when we change locations. You’ll hike with only your daypack, carrying essentials such as water, snacks, rain gear, an extra layer, and anything else you need during the day.
-
Beautiful places to stay are part of the experience. We’ll enjoy a thoughtfully chosen collection of luxurious country inns, boutique hotels, and a manor house, each with its own distinctive character. After a rewarding day on the trail, you’ll have a welcoming, comfortable setting in which to unwind.
Shared and private room options are available.
-
Yes. The itinerary includes free days in both Tetbury and Bath, giving you time to explore independently, browse shops, enjoy a leisurely meal, or simply put your feet up.
Hiking days include lunch and breaks, but they are full days on the trail, so time for exploring afterward will vary.
-
The Christian faith that Greta and I share shapes the heart of this retreat and the way we co-lead and care for our group. Women of all faith backgrounds are welcome. You don’t need to share our beliefs, but you should feel comfortable with faith being a natural part of our time and conversation together.
-
Please share any past injuries or ongoing concerns in your application so we can discuss the demands of the itinerary and whether this adventure is a good fit for you.
If you need to stop during a day’s hike, I’ll arrange a taxi to our accommodation from the nearest accessible pickup point. This is included in your retreat price, so you don’t need to feel pressured to push on. Vehicle access isn’t possible everywhere along the trail, so reaching a suitable pickup point may still require some hiking.
-
Bathroom facilities are limited, and you should expect to use the outdoors regularly on hiking days. Where our route takes us through villages or past pubs with available facilities, we’ll make use of those opportunities. However, we won’t always have access to a restroom when someone needs one.
-
Flights are not included; you’ll arrange your own travel to and from England. Breakfast is included each day, while lunches, dinners, snacks, and other food and drinks are the guest’s expense.
Plan for a morning arrival at Heathrow on our designated arrival day and a late-afternoon departure or later on departure day.

Payment Schedule
A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
The remaining balance will be paid in the 2 instalments by the following dates: February 1, 2027 and April 1, 2027
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, particularly when reserving a retreat well in advance. The following cancellation terms are designed to provide flexibility in the months following booking while also allowing us to make the advance financial commitments required to operate the retreat.
If we are able to fill your place with another approved guest, all payments you have made, including the initial deposit, will be refunded less a $250 administrative fee.
If we are unable to fill your place, all payments made until the time of cancellation will remain non-refundable.
Cancellations after April 1, 2027: No refunds, credits, or transfers will be available.
Replacement Guests
If you need to cancel, please contact us via email as soon as possible. Bringing Inspiration Home will make reasonable efforts to fill your place but cannot guarantee that a replacement guest will be found.
All replacement guests must be approved by Bringing Inspiration Home and must complete the required retreat registration and guest information by April 1, 2027. Retreat reservations may not be independently sold or transferred to another person.
Cancellation by Bringing Inspiration Home
In the unlikely event that Bringing Inspiration Home is unable to operate the retreat, we will make every reasonable effort to recover payments made to hotels, transportation providers, and other retreat suppliers.
Guests will be refunded all retreat payments that have not already been committed to non-refundable or non-recoverable retreat expenses, along with any amounts we are able to recover from our suppliers.
Because accommodations, transportation, and other retreat services are secured and paid for well in advance, we cannot guarantee the refund of payments that have already become non-refundable or non-recoverable.
Bringing Inspiration Home is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by guests, including airfare, additional accommodations, transportation, travel insurance, or other personal travel expenses.
Force Majeure
Bringing Inspiration Home is not responsible for cancellation, interruption, delay, or changes resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather or natural disasters, government actions or travel restrictions, war or civil unrest, public health emergencies, significant transportation disruptions, or other events that make the retreat impossible, unsafe, or impracticable to operate.
In these circumstances, refunds cannot be guaranteed because payments may already have been made to hotels, transportation providers, guides, and other suppliers. Where possible, we will work with our suppliers to provide any refunds, credits, rescheduling options, or other alternatives that may be available.
Travel Insurance
Guests are responsible for purchasing their own travel insurance with sufficient coverage for their retreat investment, including trip cancellation and interruption, medical emergencies, and unexpected travel disruptions. Guests are responsible for reviewing their policy to ensure it provides the coverage they need.
Because unexpected circumstances can arise before or during international travel, we encourage you to purchase your policy soon after booking and to carefully review the coverage, exclusions, and claim requirements. You may also wish to consider Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage for additional protection, as this coverage is often only available within a limited period following your initial trip payment.
Each guest is responsible for selecting and maintaining appropriate travel insurance for her individual circumstances. Bringing Inspiration Home does not provide, review, or guarantee individual insurance coverage.
