A Note from Jaime…

As a photographer and travel enthusiast, I fell in love with long-distance walking in the English countryside during my first visit to the Cotswolds in 2017.

As a homeschooling mom with young children, I realized the value in offering other women the opportunity to break from busy routines in order to heal from the past, dream for the future, and be fully immersed in the present.

In 2022, I began leading Women’s Walking Retreats through this stunning region and have been humbled by the transformative impact this experience has been for numerous women. Whether it’s the time and space to decompress and process their current situation back home, ….

The connection, adventure, and healing God has allowed us to witness was transformative, and we are delighted to offer this experience to another small group of women in the fall of 2026.

I am praying for each of the guest….and are excited for the  inspiration and restoration the Lord has in store for them.

I can’t wait to adventure with you in the Cotswolds!

Your Itinerary - July 4-11, 2027

Land at London Heathrow and transfer by private taxi or shuttle to the ancient market town of Stow-on-the-Wold where we’ll stay for 2 nights at the charming and luxurious Old Stocks Inn. Settle in, meet the group, and enjoy a hearty Welcome Dinner.

Day 1

Strike out as a group on our first walk from the bustling town of Burford to the quiet village of Swinbrook which includes a visit to an ancient country church built on Roman ruins and lunch at a village pub. Return to Stow-on-the-Wold for our second night at Old Stocks Inn.

Day 2

Following our check out at Old Stocks Inn, we’ll walk to the village of Naunton. Along the way we’ll stroll through charming hamlets, shady woodlands, and meadows along the River Windrush. After lunch at the Black Horse, we’ll transfer to the picturesque village of Lower Slaughter where we’ll stay for 2 nights at Slaughters Country Inn.

Day 3

Day 4

Begin the day with a visit to Sudeley Castle, the home and burial place of Katherine Parr, the 6th wife of Henry VIII. Afterwards we’ll walk through the town of Winchombe to the hamlet of Hailes and enjoy a fantastic farm lunch at the local orchard cafe. Later that afternoon partake in a sumptuous afternoon tea at a quintessential country manor. Those keen on a short evening walk can explore the village or meander through nearby pastures to the tranquil village of Upper Slaughter.

Following checkout, we’ll walk from the village of Snowshill to the town of Broadway via Cotswold Lavender and Broadway Tower. We’ll end the walking portion of our retreat with a 2 night stay at the sumptuous Lygon Arms Hotel, which features an indoor pool, hot tub, saunas, and steam room, along with access to full spa services - the perfect way to unwind after a week of walking!

Day 5

Take a free day to rest, explore, and shop along Broadway’s high street before our Farewell Dinner at The Mount Inn set in the tranquil village of Stanton nearby. We’ll enjoy views of the Vale of Evesham and one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds.

Day 6

Our retreat officially ends following breakfast and checkout, but many guests plan for onward travels. We can definitely help you make plans and transportation arrangements. Your retreat includes the trip back to London Heathrow or central London.
